WHAT WE FUND in KENYA

St. Mary's Hostel for Orphan Girls 


1) Nutrition

Basic foods, cooking utensils, soaps, disinfectants, and towels.


2) Medicine

Anti-malarials, typhoid, bilharzias, diabetes, and general first-aid drugs. 


3) Water Tank No. 1

 Wall Repair - Python entered so tank wall was broken to remove snake.


4) Water Tank No. 2

Additional reserve water supply during drought season.


WHAT WE FUND in UGANDA

1) Provision of Mosquito Nets

Pregnant mothers, 100 nets, approx. $500 total.


2) Provision of Mosquito Nets

Children below 10 yrs., 100 nets, approx. $500 total.


3) Transportation of Nets

From Kampala to Kalengo Village, approx. $150 total. 


4) Nutrition

Eggs for 50 children, 100 trays, approx. $38.90 each. Millet flour, 3 bags (220 lbs ea), approx. $111 each bag. Purchase/rear 100 pullets - $6 ea and 10 exotic cocks - $12 ea.


5) Water and Sanitation

Shallow wells/women’s wells, 10 wells at approx. $2,595 each.


6) Enrolled Midwifery

Education and training of a young woman.
